Blog Introduction

This blog is about my attempt to lighten up such a heavy issue that has affected the world in which we live. This animatic is a comical address of inflation. I chose this topic because the talk about inflation is everywhere. Most people who engage in this inflation conversation are so tense. So, I thought that with my wit and self-proclaimed humor I could bring a smile to the face of a viewer. The issue itself is not humorous at all, but I want to try to make sure everyone can be able to still lighten up and laugh regardless of the economic state of this country.

 

Editing with Adobe Premiere

Editing this animatic video has been a process. With the repetition of previous skills learned with Adobe Audition and the addition of new skills from class, I am becoming better and better. My attention to detail regarding the transition of audio and video is becoming gradually better as well. The assigned videos and articles/tutorials have been an enormous help. Adobe’s article “Create Title Graphics (Adobe, 2017)” paired well with Professor Heagney’s in-class instruction about title making and title animation. These skills helped me to create an animated title for the animatic video for this blog. I also referred to Adobe’s “Discover Audio Effects (Adobe, 2018)” to help me to fade my background music as my video ended. This was a great tool to reference because the fade out/fade in process is not the same as Audition. I also referenced the YouTube video “Applying Video Effects-Premiere Pro CC Tutorial (LearnKey, 2014).” This video helped me to navigate how to animate my images with scale and position.
